The JASTECA Institute of management (JIM) was established as a Trust of JASTECA in 2003 with thw objectives of transfering Japanese technology and Japanese style management techniques to the Sri lankan industries. JIM, which is the training arm of JASTECA has conducted training programmes for all levels of of staff in industrial and commercial ventures on various disciplines such as 5S, Kaizen, Production Management, Marketing, Leadership and Skills Development etc.
