Today we remember a great son of Sri Lanka who etched his name in the
annals of our history for his pioneering work in the development and use
of computing and information & communication technology in our
country.
His contributions to the
study and development of computing and information & communication
technology paved the way for the success already achieved in these
fields of technological progress so vital to the advance of our society.
