This course consist of 90 credits taught over 3 years with 7 semesters. Students will be put through a comprehensive curriculum that is designed to equip students with professional competence in Hairdressing and Beauty Specialist work. It provides the underpinning knowledge and skills required to successfully perform in the areas of cutting, styling, colouring and perming hair, facial therapy, skin care, make-up, manicure/pedicure and salon management.
This programme reveals the wide range of career opportunities that exist within the six industries of the hair and beauty sector. This will allow learners to experience the reality of working as a hairdresser, barber, beauty/spa therapist or nail technician.
